Trainer Recordings

DaDesktop provides a number of ways to produce desktop and course recordings. These include Troubleshooting recordings, Training Room recordings, and Trainer recordings. 

Trainer recordings capture the Trainer's DaDesktop machine. Trainers can initiate session recordings of the Trainer machine as follows.

 

1. Click the three vertical dots to open a small dropdown menu. From the dropdown, select 'Connect (with session recording)'

2. 

   An audio/video recording of the Trainer machine is made, but cannot be viewed until after closing the virtual classroom, when the recording is created. Note: As a SuperAdmin user, an additional menu option is available to view the live recordings as they are being made.

3. To view and edit recordings, click the cog icon and then the Recordings menu.

 

Recordings

 

Trainer recordings of the trainer machine can be viewed in two ways.

1. Recordings can be viewed from the Recordings menu as above. The recordings can be played, and deleted, as required. The double spanner icon indicates 'Troubleshooting Recordings' – these are made automatically, not for presentation, but for troubleshooting as and when necessary.

  2. Using the 'Recordings' tab of a course, you can see the Trainer recordings, Training Room recordings, and Troubleshooting recordings.
