Resizing Disk, CPU and Memory

Trainers can alter the resources originally provisioned for the Fresh-Start Desktop. This is useful when realising that the course requires extra CPU, memory, or storage for additional programs and/or software.

To change these parameters, ensure that the Fresh-Start desktop is stopped before modifying the values. Select the gear icon and choose either "Stop" or "Force-Stop" to stop the desktop.

Once the desktop is stopped, you can now resize the allocated resources. Select the gear icon and navigate to advanced > Resize (ram, cpu, disk).

Once selected, the Resize form will appear, and you can now reallocate the CPU, RAM, or Storage resources your desktop requires. The form will indicate the maximum amount allowed for each.

Please bear in mind that these changes will affect the price of the desktop, but it is recommended to allocate what you need in order for the course to run smoothly.
