DaDesktop

Roadmap

DaDesktop for training roadmap

  1. Training materials organisation - Better integration with trainer materials, user notes, presentations, etc...
  2. Auto Upscaling Desktop - if a participant's or trainer's Desktop runs out of resources, additional resources (CPU, RAM, Disk) should be added automatically without stopping the desktop
  3. Real-time subtitles with translations - for example, a trainer speaking English teaches Japanese participants, who can read Japanese subtitles in real time (available for customers who selected "Preview features")
  4. Real-time interpretation with AI - Japanese participants can listen to the real-time Japanese interpretation although the trainer is using English
  5. Participant assistant -  the system assists participants when doing labs by suggesting the 'next move' or prompting users when they have completed an exercise incorrectly, providing much faster feedback when users are 'stuck' with exercises. AKA Participant Assistant Agent. (available in Preview features)
  6. Statistics - course coordinators and stakeholders can see user participation

DaDesktop for Work (DD4W)

  1. Public Cloud - the current DaDesktop for Work is available only for private deployments; make DD4W available to the general public as a public cloud offering
  2. Better encryption integration - currently encryption setup is handled only by the operating system, allowing the user to integrate it with DaDesktop. A GUI would make it smoother (for example, the user wouldn't need to type a password into the machine, as the system already knows who the user is)
  3. Auto-switch Remote replica - the system will create or detect the closest remote replica in order to minimise the lag and improve the user experience

DaDesktop Labs/Self-study

  1. The system gives the user feedback on the progress of the lab
  2. Creator studio - lab creators can easily edit recordings online and synchronise them with the lab instructions, desktop templates and other resources (already available in Beta)
