Using Desktop as a Chrome Application

A common problem when using a desktop in a browser tab is that some shortcut keys (e.g. Ctrl+W, Ctrl+F4) are intercepted by the browser itself.

A simple solution is to create an application using Chrome (and Chromium) browsers.

1. More Tools -> Create shortcut on your computer’s desktop

2. Select "Open as window" when creating the shortcut

3. Run your application by double-clicking the shortcut on your desktop
