Reliable Controls is a Canadian company specialising in smart building controllers. They offer six products to clients across the globe. Following each annual product update, they run between 20 and 24 online training courses for more than 300 users. Previously, they had to supply computers with the software pre-installed for every session. As their business expanded, the mounting training expenses led them to seek a solution that could reduce costs whilst offering their clients a better experience.

How They Found DaDesktop

The manager, Nate, discovered DaDesktop via a Google search. He recognised it was a cloud desktop purpose-built for training. He contacted the DaDesktop team, tested the remote training himself, and chose to adopt it as their primary training platform.

The trainer simply sets up a virtual classroom and shares a link with the learners. Whether someone is in the US, Brazil, or Africa, they merely click the link and find themselves inside the virtual desktop, ready to learn.

Excellent training capabilities

Learners can view the trainer’s screen alongside their own simultaneously, making it simple to compare and follow along. The trainer can monitor all learner screens at a glance, which simplifies supervision and guidance. The trainer can remotely take control of a learner’s desktop to assist them at any moment. One user from Europe remarked that it feels as though “the trainer is right beside us.”

Operates globally

The platform scales effortlessly and functions worldwide. You can launch a training session in any country straight away, or run sessions with participants from multiple countries at the same time. You can add or remove participants whenever needed, making training more flexible.
